Techs fly to Italy for Maschio training

At the end of February six of our technicians flew to Treviso, North East Italy to attend Maschio Product training at the Maschio manufacturing facility. Over the course of three days at the Maschio Training Academy, they received training on the complete Maschio product line up. This included power harrows such as the Aquila, Toro and Jumbo as well as rotary cultivators, flail mowers and drills. The trip also included four factory tours of the various production facilities. Service technician Joe Hicks of Doubleday Swineshead said ‘the most impressive part was the technology that the different factories had such as the robotic welding and blade fabrication’. He also commented that ‘the new facilities were clean, tidy and smart’. Towards the end of the trip each Service Technician received a certificate for the completion of the training along with training materials.

We would like to say a special thanks to Opico UK for the opportunity and hospitality that the team received during the trip. We would also like to thank Chris Clark, Chris Carter, Steve Harris and all at Maschio.
